“You’re just a human being”, I am sure you have heard it before or you have said it to someone. Often that phrase is used with the attention of belittling someone or self, justify any wrong, limiting someone or self etc. Being a “human being” is not a validated excuse before God since we’re all called to set our hope and faith in God and not on human possibilities. “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” – Mat. 19:26 KJV
Unfortunately we “human beings”, we’re not good at recognizing the abilities that God has freely given to all that believes in the name of Jesus and are found in Christ. Now these abilities do not mean that we can do whatever we want, but we can do whatever God is expecting of us which we couldn’t live up to before even if we wanted. “…Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” – Zech. 4:6 KJV . Thus we are without excuse, for the promise is this “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh…” – Acts 2:17 and again Jesus Christ said: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” – John 14:12
If you haven’t been baptized by Jesus Christ with His Spirit yet, I advise you to seek Jesus Christ diligently as He rewards those who seek Him so.
